UPC+ Preventative Maintenance
The UPC Plus is used to cool GERSTEL systems such as the TDS, TDU, TD 3.5+, and DHS where cooling aids in decreasing analysis cycle time. It can also be used when cooling is needed for sample trays and agitators. Particulates in the cooling lines can cause restriction to flow and even clog the TD or CIS and affect cooling. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the coolant and the coolant filters regularly to prevent particulate matter from entering the TD or CIS system cooling lines.
