Proper maintenance procedures ensure maximum performance of the GERSTEL MPS electromagnetic gripper
The GERSTEL MPS uses an electromagnetic gripper mechanism to transport thermal desorption tubes and other items via a transport adapter. If the gripper fails to either pick up or release the transport adapter, maintenance is required. Gripper maintenance involves disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
