Protect MPS Configurations Through System Backup Feature
All GERSTEL MPS Robotic systems can save a backup of the system configuration onto the rail by using the keypad and going to Options/Maintenance/Create Configuration Backup. These configuration backups can then be copied to a USB stick and saved separately from the instrument. It is important to make a new backup of the system anytime a change is made to the MPS – adding a new object, re-teaching of object positions, etc. That backup can be re-loaded into the instrument to reset it and can also be used for troubleshooting purposes by our inside service team.
