SPME is a widely used technique for the extraction and concentration of volatile compounds from a wide range of samples. It is particularly useful in the food, flavor and beverage industry. GERSTEL is the leading provider of automation for SPME and has taken it one step further than everyone else by now offering a MultiFiber Exchanger Option, that allows a single sample to be analyzed using different polarity fibers automatically. In addition a 25 fiber option is available for applications that require analysis of fibers that have been used for remote sampling.
